History of the organization
Over time!
Mr. Ernest Wossidlo is the founder of Épilepsie Granby et Région Inc. a non-profit organization which took off in November 1987. Its initial objectives were to inform the general public about epilepsy and promote the defense of their rights and interests. Mr. Woosidlo also wanted to offer these same people the opportunity to share their experiences.

Change of identity
In 2017, Épilepsie Granby et Région celebrated its 30th anniversary by changing its identity to Épilepsie Montérégie. As a result, the organization now covers the vast and populous Montérégie region.
Épilepsie Montérégie proudly displays its new logo, and still has the same mission: to serve people living with epilepsy and those around them.
